Data Entry

Manual inputs for the two market layers: team valuations when Forbes or Sportico publish, and weekly social follower counts.

Add valuation snapshot

Bulk import valuations

Paste one team per line: Team Name, Value in billions, Source, Publish Date — e.g. Dallas Cowboys, 13.0, forbes, 2025-08-28. Sources: forbes, sportico, other. Lines starting with # and empty lines are ignored. Team names match case-insensitively; unrecognized names are skipped, not blocked.

Add social snapshot

Weekly follower counts. Leave a platform at 0 to skip it — growth rates are computed from week-over-week change, not absolute counts.

Bulk import social snapshots

Paste one entry per line: Entity Name, Platform, Follower Count, Snapshot Date — e.g. Dallas Cowboys, instagram, 4200000, 2026-07-14. Platforms: instagram, twitter, facebook, tiktok, youtube. Teams and players both match (case-insensitive); duplicates for the same entity + platform + date are skipped. Max 2,000 rows per import.

YouTube handles

Set the channel handle (e.g. @NFL) per entity to enable the subscriber auto-fetch on the snapshot form.

Why manual?
Forbes and Sportico publish valuations on their own irregular schedule, and most social platform APIs are rate-limited or paid. A five-minute weekly entry keeps the market layers current without a scraping dependency — YouTube is the exception, with subscriber counts auto-fetched from the Data API once a handle is set.
